My Story
I’ve always been fascinated by the stories held within landscapes, wildlife and the everyday objects we surround ourselves with. Whether I’m illustrating a British butterfly, a creature from Welsh folklore or a decorative pattern inspired by nature, I’m interested in creating artwork that celebrates our connection with the natural world.
Every collection begins with curiosity. I spend time observing species, exploring local landscapes and researching traditions, folklore and cultural heritage that have shaped them. Those ideas grow into illustrated collections that become art prints, stationary, homeware and products designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
My background in archaeology has profoundly influenced the way I approach illustration. It taught me to look closely, to understand how landscapes change through time, and to appreciate the relationships between people, nature and place. That perspective continues to shape every piece I create.
My Approach
I create artwork that balances beauty with storytelling. Rather than following short-lived trends, I enjoy building collections that can grow over time, each one exploring a particular theme, species or landscape.
Many of my illustrations are inspired by Britain’s native wildlife, alongside folklore, craft traditions and histories that continue to shape our sense of place. My aim is to create work that feels timeless, inviting people to slow down, look more closely and discover something new each time they return.
